Happy Monday!

ASTRO CAMP INFO:

-Health Form (MUST BE COMPLETELY FILLED OUT AND SIGNED) due Thurs

-Field Trip Form due Thurs

-2 Liter plastic soda bottle labelled with name due Thurs—bring extras if you have them!

*Students were sent home with all this info plus a packing list and list of Astro Camp store items. Let me know if you have any questions!*

ELA: LT Ch. 10-11 RG due Wed and S/V Test Wed. They need to be keeping up on their annotations and golden lines for each chapter. Whatever pages/chapters we read the previous week are due the following Monday. They should have 1-2 QUALITY annotations per page, and 2-3 golden lines per chapter. Don’t forget to annotate any reference to Greek mythology/culture!

We also read Robert Hayden’s poem “Perseus”, which details a new perspective on the classic myth of Perseus and Medusa. Perseus reflects on his “thirst to destroy.” CR is EC (due Thurs).

HISTORY: We are in the midst of our Theatre Phase! The city-states were each assigned a different Greek myth, and they have to adapt it, create masks, and perform it for the challenge. Performances are on Wed, with Quiz 4 also on Wed.

FESTIVAL NOTES DUE TOMORROW!

Teams struggled to work together to complete their Greek temples in the allotted time, but Sparta proved victorious once again! Athens came close to placing, but unfortunately their temple fell to an “earthquake” at the last moment :(

STRIVE FOR ARETE IN ALL THAT YOU DO!

RELIGION: Miracle Maker Test Corrections due Thurs. Unit 2 Textbook Test (Take Home) due 4/30.

ART: KEEP UP ON YOUR ANIMATIONS!!! Pencil tests should be done no later than 4/18, and claymation sets and sculptures done no later than 4/8.
