Week 32

Hi all!

Hope you had a restful and relaxing Easter break! This week is the big one—the Olympics, Belmont Park, and ASTRO CAMP!!! Please read below info on each:

Tues 4/30

School starts at 8am. Come in PE clothes for Olympics and bring clothes to change for Belmont Park if needed. Please also bring a sack lunch, sunscreen, and water bottle. You will turn in the following HW:

-Last minute field trip forms for Astro Camp and 2 Liter bottle (if still haven’t turned in)

-Miracle Maker Test Corrections with original test stapled to the back. PLEASE FOLLOW TEST CORRECTION FORMAT!

-Unit 2: Jesus the Christ Take Home Test

After unpacking and doing Editing, we will head to the field for the Olympic Games (fingers crossed it won’t be raining!) There is an all-school recess at 9:30, and then we depart from SJA at 10:15am. We will then return to school by 2:45.

Wed 5/1

Arrive at school at 7:45am with luggage already packed and ready. Please refer to this Packing List!!! Adhere to this list TO A T. Note: if you do not bring the 2 Liter bottle or a swim suit, you will not be able to participate in several activities!

I will collect all medications/epipens/etc that morning. The students cannot hold their own meds, even if it is just Advil or altitude sickness pills. Bring any and all meds in a SEALED, LABELLED, ZIPLOC BAG. I will hold them with me throughout the trip, and can administer them to your child if needed.

*BRING A SACK LUNCH FOR THIS DAY* All other meals will be provided.

We will go to Mass from 8-8:45am. Drivers: we will start loading cars by 9:30am for a 9:45 departure.

Please refer to this map of the route. The routes up from Banning and Hemet remain closed, so Astro Camp sent this map as well to reiterate.

We have a SUPERMEGACOOLAWESOMEFUN time at Astro Camp!

Fri 5/3

Drivers should be at Astro Camp by no later than 12pm. We will depart as soon as we finish lunch (provided). Depending on traffic, we should arrive back at SJA by 2:30pm (3pm at the latest—I will keep you updated if this happens).
